It's been a while...

I have been so busy that I honestly don't remember the last time I event thought of posted anything on here.  I have not taken any photos that I would want to show here.  I might remove some of my postings since I am thinking of changing my photographic focus.

I can't wait 4 this month to be over...

It's not even half way through the and already lost two hard-drives.  Crying  Along with them I lost large amount of finished work and some programs that I had not backed up.   One of those programs was Microsoft Office and the price on it to be replaced is 150+.  I had to buy a damn HP laptop to see what work I had backed up to my external hard-drive.  Which is starting to make funny noises, so I am going to need to replace it, two hard-drives, and at least MS Office & Adobe Light room.  This is going to set me a lot.Oh Noes!

White Thanksgiving and a quiet Black Friday

The area I live in got about a foot of snow and it wasn't the light stuff either.  So, after removing the snow from the walkway and creating a path for my cat who likes to go out the back. This all felt like about 3 hours.  It was time for dinner, which was actually alright, just the clean up was left to me.  So, I plan not to go shopping to day.  I might visit a couple of friends.

Mother's day?! More like D-day...

This year my mother had told me she wanted a CD player for Mother's day, however given my parent's level of technological knowledge and what is out on the market I found that it was easier to improvise.  I took the DVD player they had collecting dust in one of their rooms and hooked it up to their television.  I had to use Y-plugs so they could still watch TV; they just have to turn off the satellite box so they can listen to a CD or watch a DVD.  Yes, it was financially cheap; nevertheless I had to deal with my step-dad in order to set it up since he was watching golf at the time.  Also, their television is mounted on the wall so I couldn't plug the DVD player in from behind since their is about a 58" and my upper body strength is below average.  I forgot to mention that their satellite is connected to the side of their TV and my step-dad hates to be bothered.
